Cups of soup for the

Love that lasts.
I've spent 20 years working with people who are in the agonizing
throws of a lost love. And with their children. People in the court
system routinely say that divorce is always more painful for the children than the
parents. Because the kids, not wanting to make things worse, try so hard not
to show it. But worse than for their parents? I'm not so sure.
I see people daily who have to go to the restroom to vomit over their
pain. And these are the adults.
The pain is great for both adults and children. Lost love hurts. It hurts more than sticks, stones, you name it.... They don't write all those tear-jerkin' country western songs for nothing!
Bottom line: lasting matters. And the keys to making it last are anything but well known. As a nation, we stink at it. And we've gotten worse. The divorce rate in the county where I live has reached 74%.
